Not too long ago, i received an sms from a very close buddy of mine. She messaged me and asked me about do u know so and so….? To be frank i got a shock of a lifetime. 2 persons which doesnt know each other at all, met and the last thing i know, is that theyre talking bout me(good or bad, tat one i dunno la). Thanks to the internet and friendster, ppl get to know who ur friends are.

I was working at that time. When i received that sms, i just called my friend immediately. Imagine wat a shock i got.

Being someone who reflects a lot, i ask myself, wat would they be talking about me? I hope they didnt spill out all the bad things about me. Lucky thing i didnt do anything teruk except being labeled as childish for this case…hahaha… Then i started thinking further, wat about all my past? There will definitely be ugly episodes in everyones life which we dun want anyone to know. Will this affect me in the future? Wat if another person in the future comes to me and say, man, i cant believe u r this sort of person?

As i do my devotion with GOD, i expressed my worries to HIM and ask him wat is his view. The Lord answered me, "My child why are u so troubled by ur past? I have redeemed u. Its ur past. When u repented and come to me, its finished." Jesus said in the bible, IT IS DONE. "Look forward towards the purposes i have in store for u." " Dont u realised that u have changed a lot since u came back to me?".

After that i felt the peace in my heart. I know it now. If someone knows ur bad past. Thats a good thing. WHY? because, when ppl seen the change that Christ has done in ur life, Christ is glorified. Ive heard many stories of powerful testimonies of how GOD changed their lifes. Stories of ex convicts, murderers, drug addicts and all nonsense , changed by Christ. Did they hide their past from others? NO. But ppl certainly are amazed what changed that person when they see them now.

Same principle applies to my case. So … i guess, i was just thinking too much over unnecessary stuff. haha.. So when bad things happen to u, just forget it and look forward. God doesnt care about ur past. He cares about wat u do NOW. SO DO KEEP MOVING.
