backslider to Frontliner pt 14

* "Ladies and Gentlemen… My apologies, for not completing what i started, the sequel of backslider to Frontliner series. Because of many changes and events that has happened to my life, affecting my lifestyle, i got distracted somehow. Anyway, I am a person who keep my words. I will finish it. :) Thanx to all whom have been requesting me to write it out. This ones for u guys… :)"

Life goes on in IPG. The class was really siao. My first class was, Office practice and procedures, CAT programme. To me the class was sort of a waste of time. But, it was fun. Mr Edwin Chin was my lecturer. He ended up being called the "zoo keeper". Yes, we were a bunch of  animals from the zoo. We had, monkeys, apes, rhinoceros, elephant and even a hippopotamus. It was chaotic, that we received complaints from many other classes. Like we cared. :) Almost everyone in the class had a nickname.

Every classes was like going into a comedy show. William was chosen as the class monitor. And i guess he was kinda "bangga" about it. You can see him wearing his Persatuan Ketua Tingkatan T-shirt from chung ling to classes. He suited the job. Except that he was the most noisy fellow in class. Everytime the lecturer asks us to keep quiet, we will always answer,"How u expect us to shut up, if the monitor cannot stop joking ?". William is aka "the Monitor" or "William the Great".

Let me give u an example. Edwin was lecturing about how to store information in a soft copy or hard copy. Then all of a sudden, our hero, mr william ching will say, oh… hard copy is the hard hard kopi la.. Soft copy is the soft soft kopi la.

There was this fellow named ah boo aka boo boo… who is another super funny guy. First day in class this fellow comes to classes late with his bermuda pants. I asked him, how do u find parking? so late liao? And this smart alex says… never mind 1 la… just another green paper nia mah(saman paper). Aiyo..Hopelessla.. Hes the other joker in class. Got once the lecturer, Ms Lim(transaction accounting) asked us, which secondary skool do u come from? Our fren, ah boo answered, Gua Bei Kee Liao ("forgotten liao" in hokkien). Goodness, How can he forget his secondary skool?

Ms Lim declared that this is the most challenging class to teach… CA-1-2. Once, she was trying to explain the difference between intangible and tangible asset. So to simplify things, she said, tangible asset leh… are the assets u can touch one loh… then intangible hio.. are those assets u cannot touch one loh… then she gave an example(tat she regretted)… like IPG(my college name), can u touch the name leh? cannot rite? AH BOO came and said… CAN CAN… i go upstairs the top floor there, mah can touch the IPG sign loh… mah can touch loh… aiyo… Ms Lim teach our class, can spit blood 1.

Next episode, i will introduce to u the whole cast, the characters of CA-1-2. Then u will see the whole picture.

To be continued….

Trip to KL… :)

Last week on 14 september 2006, i went back to KL. My examiners from UK came to Segi College to conduct a 5-day course for us. This is the first time tat i have ever been lectured by an ang moh/ kwai lou. So far so good… i can understand the English accent. I often have to be an interpreter for those chinese educated classmates of mine.

It was a good experience for me as i find that the British lecturers are very different from our local. Our locals tend to stress on how to get good marks in exams. This Brits, they emphasis a lot on grasping the subject itself. I like the way they answer my questions. They will bit the bush, tell u many facts b4 they conclude and answer ur questions. I prefer it this way rather than, a straight forward answer. These guys, they really know their stuff. And as stupid as i can question, they always have an answer. :) I admire their patience in answering questions.

The Segi College Subang Jaya’s cafe is really good. I love the food they offer. Typical western food. Sheperd’s pie, Potato Jack and others. I think the tauke is a british guy, if im not wrong. Thanx for the good food… :) I went to eat at the Jalan 222 Hokkien Mee(tai lok Mee), 2 times. I ordered to big plate and wallop it kow kow.  I also managed to eat Nam Heong Chicken rice in Taipan Subang Jaya. All these made life good for me, whom live to eat… :)

After such a long time stuck in Penang, I must say, i really love KL. Those 5 days, i just lepak kow kow. Although i didnt have much time, i went out to after finishing my classes at 6pm. I managed to meet up a few friends whom i lost contact for quite some time. I met up with Choon Hwa,Quan Sean, Gwen, Chong Wee, Lydia and James Kok. Thats all. I really appreciate those fellows, cos i know some of them are busy, yet they made some time for me. :) FRIENDS FOREVER !!! For others that i cant meet, really soree la.. dun have time to meet with everyone. Next time la… :)

Bcos of time constraint, i only slept an average of 3-4 hours for the 5 days. Study and travelling killed all my time. I took 2 cups of coffee to keep me awake in class. Coffee somehow has a great effect on me.

I was having such a nice time that i kena emo the last 2 days before i came back to Penang. I really didnt like coming back home. But i have my responsibilities. And i cant run away from it.

When i reached home in Penang, i got sick immediately. Must be due to lack of sleep. It was so bad that i had to take a leave from my work to rest. But i feel that it was worth it. I really enjoyed myself those 5-days… :) Coming back from KL refreshed my spirit. At least it motivates me to move on. As i cant stand being stuck in Butterworth too long.. keke.. Life over here is kinda boring. But ill get over it somehow. :) Anyway it was great … stepping back again into KL.

ILL BE BACK !!!
